What stays on your Mac

Widgets read what they show — events, tabs, mail, music, notes, terminal and agent activity — directly on your Mac, through macOS permissions you choose to grant. That content is never sent to us. Clipboard history is stored only on your Mac, encrypted with a key kept in your Keychain.

What our license server receives

To run the free trial and keep a license within its Mac limit, Ganella sends:

• An identifier the app creates for your Mac, the Mac’s name, and the Ganella and macOS versions.
• When the Mac was first and last seen, the days it was active, and its trial dates.
• For a license: the license, which Macs use it, and when they were activated or deactivated.

Purchases

Paddle processes payments as the Merchant of Record. We receive your name, email address, Paddle customer and transaction IDs, currency and total, so we can issue and email your license key. We never see your card or bank details. License keys are stored encrypted.

Website

ganella.app uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and clicks on buttons such as Download and Buy. It doesn’t use cookies for this. Downloads and update checks request files from our release server.

Who we share with

We don’t sell personal information or use it for advertising or tracking across apps. We share only what’s needed with the providers that run Ganella: Paddle for payments, our email provider to send license keys and support replies, and our hosting and analytics providers. We may disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Purchase and license records are kept for as long as the license exists and as accounting law requires. Device records are kept while they’re needed for trials and license limits. You can ask us to access or delete your information at any time; some purchase records may need to be kept by law.
